BRENDON MCCULLUM would love Ben Stokes to jump on his whiteball bandwagon and help transform the side back into world champions.
The England Test coach has accepted the tough task of managing across all three formats and is keen for his "good mate" Stokes to be available for ODI and T20 duty.
McCullum also expects Stokes to remain in charge of the Test side which the pair have transformed out of all recognition over the past two years - for a good while yet.
McCullum will have his Test cap on today when England try to wrap up a 3-0 series win over Sri Lanka and a 6-0 summer clean sweep, having already beaten West Indies by the same score.
But he sees no reason why England cannot rule the short forms of the game again, having given up their T20 and ODI crowns over the last year.
