In his new BBC One series SAS: Catching The Criminals, the ex-bodyguard of Sir Michael Caine and Tom Cruise, travels around Britain with police and elite enforcement teams to see how they are increasingly using military and SAS tactics to catch law breakers.
Billy says: "Anti-social crime is on the rise across the UK, from low level shoplifting to petty drugs, hard drugs, people smuggling, animal cruelty and vandalism. It was reassuring to see the police, Environment Agency and all these community people coming together to tackle crime - they're not turning a blind eye.
"Dogs have always had a connection with the military, what we do in the regiment and SAS - the use of dogs has been massive forever.
"Everything from narcotics to helping vets who are injured, to finding explosives and weapons etc, there are a million roles for dogs.
"It was good to see the police using them really well. We went after fake tobacco and vapes, money that had been hidden and all sorts of stuff.
