WOMBATS frontman Matthew “Murph” Murphy once found himself in troubled waters – when he was almost mown down by a speedboat!
Given a fright, the Greek Tragedy singer narrowly avoided a potentially catastrophic accident while on holiday in Greece.
Murph, 40, told me: “Me and my dad were snorkelling, and there was this guy on a f***ing speedboat just bombing it around.
“We both came up and the propeller was so close to us – we were really close!”
