IVAN JURIC is determined to get things right - though he always knew it was going to be "extremely difficult" to try to turn Southampton's season around.
Even after replacing Russell Martin with former Torino and Roma boss Juric, the Saints' outlook for 2025 remains bleak.
Southampton remain rock bottom and are now 10 points adrift of safety. They have suffered back-to-back defeats over the holiday season to West Ham and Crystal Palace.
Croatian coach Juric has looked to reshape the team as quickly as possible, with the likes of Paul Onuachu, Kamaldeen Sulemana and on-loan Chelsea midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu all brought back in from the cold.
