THOMAS TUCHEL is set to discover his route to the World Cup - and could face a Battle of Britain.
England's manager-in-waiting will be at FIFA's headquarters in Zurich today with the Three Lions among the 12 top seeds for the European qualifying draw.
Tuchel starts officially on January 1 and will head up a delegation from the Football Association.
The FA will then be able to map out England's potential path to the 2026 World Cup, which is being jointly hosted in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
And while England are in with the big guns like Germany, Spain and Italy, the other home nations and also the Republic of Ireland are not among the top seeds.
Wales are in pot two while Northern Ireland, Scotland and Republic of Ireland are in pot three.
