NEW England boss Thomas Tuchel has promised to put a second star on the Three Lions shirt.
The German has signed an 18-month deal worth £5m a year and admits his reign will be judged on whether he wins the World Cup.
England's men last won a major trophy in 1966 and that triumph is recognised with a star above the badge on the shirt.
The Football Association is now putting their faith in Tuchel to deliver another after recent near misses under Gareth Southgate.
