BOURNEMOUTH v TOTTENHAM
KO: 8.15pm, A Prime REF: Simon Hooperkk
TOTTENHAM boss Ange Postecoglou is happy for everyone to write off Heungmin Son – because he says his captain will prove them all wrong.
The South Korean star, 32, has managed just three Premier League goals this season amid injuries and a drop in form, with his contract also due to expire in the summer, although Spurs are expected to activate a one-year option to extend his deal.
But Postecoglou has likened Son’s situation to when there were similar doubts over Mo Salah at the start of the 2022-23 season, only for the Liverpool superstar to quickly get back to his very best.
