Potter ready to clean up at Hammers after 'washing machine' hell at Chelsea

GRAHAM POTTER insists he won't be a washout at West Ham and has promised everyone at the club they will soon be enjoying their football again.

After suffering in the dizzying hotseat at Chelsea - which he compared to like being in the washing machine - Potter is fired up and ready to go again.

Julen Lopetegui's replacement knows avoiding relegation is the No.1 priority at the London Stadium.

But he is also aware that Hammers fans are craving upped entertainment levels as well.

David Moyes wasn't able to provide enough of that in the eyes of plenty of supporters, despite bringing home the Europa Conference League trophy in 2022. Lame duck Lopetegui certainly wasn't and had to go.

Potter managed to get Brighton looking easy on the eye as they punched above their weight when he was boss at the Amex from 2019 to 2022.

And he is hopeful of a similar upgrade with the Hammers.
