Jack Laugher is out to change that this afternoon, as he targets a third successive medal in the 3m springboard, having won bronze in Tokyo and silver in Rio.

WOMEN’S 400M HURDLES FINAL

Another night of track action and another of the most eagerly anticipated head-to-heads of the games. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Femke Bol are the two fastest women in history, the only two, in fact, to have broken 51sec. McLaughlin-Levrone is the world record-holder and favourite, but Bol has already crushed American dreams once at these Games, with her devastating anchor leg in the mixed 4x400m relay.
