MUMBAI: The boy, identified as Zohan Pathan from Goa, was missing since the accident on Wednesday when a Navy speedboat collided with a ferry off the Mumbai coast. The body was found during a joint search operation conducted by navy, coast guard and police, officials added."Missing seven-year-old boy's body was found floating in sea near Yellow Gate area in South Mumbai," said deputy commissioner of police Pravin Munde. "The body is of the missing Zohan Pathan."According to a statement issued by the navy, the naval speedboat was undergoing engine trials when it lost control and collided with the passenger ferry "Neel Kamal" off the Mumbai coast on Wednesday afternoon.The Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) investigation into the accident also revealed that the ferry was overloaded at the time of the incident. The board has since cancelled both the ferry's licence and survey certificate for violating the Inland Vessel Act.Officials aware of the operation said that 113 people onboard both the ferry and the naval speedboat have now been accounted for. Of the 15 deceased, 11 were aboard the ferry. Of the six people aboard the speedboat, a navy officer and two employees of a naval contractor died.
