JAIPUR: Former Union minister Smriti Irani on Monday urged the youth to believe in their capabilities and achieve the impossible. However, she also told them to be responsible and to bear the consequences of their actions.
Irani made these comments while addressing students at an event in the Maharani Gayatri Devi (MGD) school in Jaipur. During the event, Irani shared several anecdotes of hardships and success, further talking about her experience as an actor, scriptwriter, director, producer, activist, author, and politician.
"When you are told something is impossible, believe in your capabilities and your dreams and it will come true," she told students. "But be responsible, you have to bear the consequences of your actions, whether success or failure. Failure is a lonely place to be."
