PATNA: Patna district magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar on Sunday submitted a report to the secretary of Bihar public service commission (BPSC) on the trouble created at Bapu examination centre, Kumhrar premises on Saturday by some BPSC aspirants during the 70th combined preliminary competitive examination held by BPSC on December 14.
The report has recommended strict disciplinary and legal action against the unruly elements as well as to file a case of murder. The role of some coaching institutes also needs to be investigated in this case, the report has suggested.
Submitting his report to the BPSC secretary, the DM mentioned that it appeared some candidates, on the pretext of late distribution of question papers, started to boycott the exam with the intention of disrupting it by spreading rumours in a planned manner as part of a conspiracy to get the examination cancelled.
"CCTV and video footage could be seen as evidence that during the uproar in the examination hall, an invigilator Ram Iqbal Singh suffered a heart attack where he was taken to the hospital but there was delay in taking him to hospital because some candidates blocked the road and he died," the report said.
