Pandey, the former MLC, had been a member of Janata Dal (United) before joining the LJP.
The raids, which are part of an ongoing investigation, were conducted simultaneously at Danapur, Patna, Bengaluru, and Delhi.
The ED officials searched a flat in the Expression Exotica Apartment on Gola Road in Danapur and an office of Hulas Pandey on Boring Road in the state capital. Officials revealed that Pandey's name surfaced in connection with illegal mining activities in the Sandesh and Sahar areas of Bhojpur district.
The searches, which began early in the morning, were ongoing at the time of reporting. Properties in three cities were being thoroughly examined by ED teams with assistance from local police and paramilitary forces.
