Police further said that the incident occurred when the bike-borne miscreants honked, but the pick-up driver did not make way for them. Initially, a heated verbal altercation broke out, followed by one of the two assailants shooting the pick-up van driver.
The victim was identified as 55-year-old Kamlesh Kumar, son of Rambachan Kumar Singh of Mathiya village under Bikramganj police station of Rohtas district.
