ARARIA: A 50-year-old professor, Jayant Mahajan, who embarked on a mission "Change Before Climate Change" from Nadabet, also known as Wagah of Gujarat, the border between India and Pakistan, on January 23 to raise awareness about protecting forests, land, air and water bodies, entered Bihar through Araria on Tuesday.

"I have seen forests and water bodies disappear and I thought I must do something to bring about transformation into the people from destroyers to preservers," Mahajan, a professor of Business Management at Christ University, Pune campus, Maharashtra told HT, claiming that his mission to cycle over 20,000 km across the country has succeeded in eliciting good response.
