Police step up hunt for teen's killer

POLICE patrols have been stepped up in the hunt for the killer of a teenager who was targeted in broad daylight.

Prince Walker-Ayeni, 17, was stabbed to death in a horror attack on Raby Street in Moss Side on Thursday afternoon.

Prince, who was just days away from his 18th birthday, was rushed to hospital, but tragically died a short time later.

As investigations continue, police say neighbourhood officers will be a 'visible presence' in the area in the days to come.

Sergeant Dave Fenton said: "We always want our presence to be a reassuring one, but we understand that this visible presence is especially important now more than ever to our local community after the devastating news.

"We have stepped up local patrols in the area to provide a visible presence in the area.
