A SANDWICH shop loved by City players claims to have served up the 'biggest sandwich ever! Ad Maiora in Ancoats has become renowned for its huge artisan butties, which have won it a huge following across the city. Their wares have been devoured by City stars Mateo Kovacic, Phil Foden and Erling Haaland the latter of whom even has a sandwich named after him.

Daniela Steri and Enrico Pinn, the Sardinian couple who run the sandwich shop, were left stunned yesterday morning when a hungry customer placed a mammoth breakfast order via Deliveroo.
