A PARK has been shut to the public for a week as part of a murder probe.
Parr Fold Park in Walkden has been locked down until next Wednesday.
The operation is linked to the death of Stuart Everett.
The 67-year-old is believed to have died at a house in Winton, Salford, at the end of March.
A murder investigation began when parts of his body were found at Kersal Dale on April 4.
A search of a north Manchester park and woodland, Boggart Hole Clough, which started on May 16, led to the discovery of further body parts linked to the same inquiry.
Parts of Mr Everett's body have now been found in five different locations. Firstly a lower back, buttocks and thigh were discovered at Kersal Dale in plain sight near a footpath, wrapped in cellophane.
