'Pumped-up, angry' gang targeted family

A JUDGE blasted a group of 'pumped up, angry young men' after violence broke out on a street.

Minshull Street Crown Court heard a man had left his grandparents' house to try to track down his stolen bike when he was confronted by a group of up to 15 men.

"That's my f***ing bike," he shouted before members of the gang ran at him. Prosecutor Nicholas Clarke told the court: "He noted the group were in possession of samurai swords, zombie knives and other types of knives." He ran back to the house, before family members tried to speak to the group. The man then tried to get his loved ones back inside when he felt a 'sharp pain' in the middle of his back.
