RESIDENTS in a usually 'peaceful' neighbourhood have spoken of their shock after the stabbing of two men near their homes.
Police and paramedics were called to Ardern Road in Crumpsall on Wednesday evening and the two victims, aged 19 and 20, were rushed to hospital.
Yesterday morning, the street was cordoned off with forensics tents erected.
Officers were out along the roads with long sticks as they rifled through piles of leaves, peered along gutters and searched under parked cars.
