Super League clubs cancelled yesterday's planned meeting relating to the future of Salford - instructing the Rugby Football League and Rugby League Commercial to make the decision on what happens next with the cash-strapped club.
A message was relayed to the RFL and Salford yesterday as clubs stated their unwillingness to have an influence on the future of the club, which is at risk of falling over before the turn of the year if they do not receive financial help.
