WHEN it comes to betting on big scores, City fan Simon Harwood is a big hitter.
He has had an amazing run by correctly predicting the exact score when his beloved Blues have won by a massive margin.
His most recent success was a flutter on City beating Salford City FC 8-0 in the FA Cup.
But he will make the most poignant punt he has ever made when he backs the Blues to beat Belgian team Club Brugge 6-0 tomorrow to preserve their Champions League hopes.
His window cleaner son Joshua, also a big City fan, died from pneumonia on January 29, 2024 - a year to the day of the game.
As Joshua was born on the sixth day of the month, their favourite bet was always 6-0 to the Blues.
Grandad Simon, 56, who played in the same highly-successful youth team as City legends Paul Lake, David White and Ian Brightwell will be betting £30 at 28/1 that City beat the Belgians 6-0 to help secure a play-off place.
