The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has announced tougher pollution control measures for Delhi-NCR under Stage 4 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), effective from 8 am on Monday. The move comes as the city battles severe air pollution, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) soaring to 457 by 7 pm on Sunday, marking the fifth consecutive day of hazardous air quality.
