Vice President Kamala Harris, speaking in Selma on the 59th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” a major milestone in the civil rights movement, issued the most forceful statement to date, calling on Israel to do more for the people In Gaza. “We have seen reports of families eating leaves or animal feed. Women giving birth to malnourished babies with little or no medical care, and children dying from malnutrition and dehydration.” “The Israeli government must do more to significantly increase the flow of aid. No excuses.”
