Palace took a two-goal lead and City were misfiring so badly they didn’t manage a single shot on target in a mistake-strewn first half.
It was the fourth time in the last six games that City have found themselves two goals down and Guardiola admitted: “We are playing with a lot of risk and one day we won’t come back. The Premier League doesn’t wait for anyone.”
