Under normal circumstances, we test the cooking version of a car, then months later, the hot one. With the recent supply issues, things have gone topsy-turvy and it panned out we tested the hot Skoda Enyaq Coupe, the vRS, before the regular model.
We were somewhat underwhelmed and summed it up as “simply not interesting enough or suitably fun to drive to justify its own existence”.
We also reckoned the Coupe was less practical than the regular Enyaq SUV and since it wasn’t sporty, wasn’t worth the sacrifice in interior space, even if it does look a bit sharper.
So now we have the regular Enyaq Coupe iV. Skoda uses the iV initials to denote its electrified models and sure enough the Enyaq comes tooled up with a 77kWh battery and 204PS electric motor.
