It comes just weeks after the release of the couple’s explosive and hugely successful six-part series in which they complained about their treatment by the Royal Family and the “institution”.
Insiders say the astronomical ratings figures mean it’s a “no-brainer” that the streaming giant wants the couple to do a follow-up.
Netflix bosses also suggested the idea of a fly-on-the-wall reality show – like the Kardashian family, above, who became famous for being famous – but Meghan and Harry have resisted.
In the meantime, the couple yesterday launched Live to Lead as their second docu-series on the streamer. They have executive produced it and appear on camera discussing the roles of influential leaders around the world.
Harry is also set to publish his memoir Spare on January 10, and sales are already soaring.
But Netflix is pushing for “early conversations” with the Sussexes’ production company Archewell about a true docu-series sequel.
