"Congress has always engaged in politics of division, splitting the nation along religious, economic, caste, and linguistic lines. Now, they aim to divide people based on the color of their clothes," Shekhawat remarked on Tuesday.
Both leaders also visited Sriganganagar, where they paid their respects at a meeting held in memory of former minister Gurjant Singh Brar.
Further criticizing Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Shekhawat added, "Bhagwa' (Saffron) is a symbol of respect for us. It's not a political matter but one of faith."
