He defeated the reigning World Champion, Ding Liren, in a best-of-14 games championship clash in Singapore. Both players played aggressive chess, and the scores were tied before the final 14th game. Gukesh overcame Liren's resistance to win the title.</p><p>While Gukesh's remarkable feat is worth celebrating, it's time for a movement toward equal rewards in Indian sports.
