The media point, or if one could term it as the sounding board, was packed with activity as leaders from the opposition parties made a bee-line to the spot on the fourth day of the Telangana Assembly session to vent their feelings.
MLA Payal Shankar criticizes the Congress government, questioning the way the government was functioning by not discussing major issues in the Assembly.
Shankar stated that the behavior of Congress leaders is making people regret voting for them. He questioned who would maintain law and order if the Chief Minister besieged Raj Bhavan. He accused the government of avoiding answers to opposition questions and using excuses to cover up their mistakes. Shankar also questioned who would save the state if the government continued to act in this manner.
BJP leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy questioned whether the Chief Minister's decision to personally lead a protest at Raj Bhavan is a violation of the constitution. He pointed out that typically, the Congress Legislative Party leader would lead such protests, but the CM's involvement is unprecedented.
