Andhra Pradesh deploys drones to combat Ganja cultivation

In a significant move to tackle the growing menace of ganja cultivation and related crimes, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to deploy drones in full scale for surveillance and identification of illegal cannabis plantations. This technological intervention is part of the state's larger strategy to address the root cause of drug-related offenses and enhance public safety.

Recently the officials have tested the use of drones in Alluri Sitaramaraju District and successfully destroyed the ganja cultivation taking place in the district.
