The BJP on Monday reiterated that the Congress's programme of organising press conferences across the country for seeking the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah for his remarks on Dr BR Ambedkar during the Constitution debate was nothing but "pure hypocrisy".
It reiterated that the Congress had not only insulted and humiliated him during his lifetime, but also his legacy as instead of honouring him with a civilian award it honoured the man who defeated him in the 1952 Lok Sabha elections.
