Man hides identity, rapes woman on marriage pretext

In a case of love jihad, a Muslim man concealed his identity and raped a woman for four years while promising to marry her.

The accused pressured her to change her religion and even issued life threats to the victim when she refused. The woman approached the police with members of a saffron organisation on Wednesday and lodged a complaint against the accused.

An FIR has been registered in this connection on her complaint, police officials said.
