He flagged off the National Energy Conservation Week program to be held by Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company from December 14th to 20th Rajahmundry. District Collector P. Prashanthi participated in the program. On this occasion, Minister Durgesh unveiled the National Energy Week poster prepared by Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission. On this occasion, the Minister explained the importance of energy and the methods to save it, saying that if we waste electricity now, we will leave darkness for future generations. He called for using LED bulbs instead of traditional bulbs and thereby saving more than 60 percent of electricity. He suggested that if we save electricity, we will be the ones who have given assurance to future generations.
