FOUR men have been arrested following an alleged serious assault in Plymouth city centre.
Devon and Cornwall Police said two men were taken to hospital with injuries after the reported attack on Sunday morning.
The serious assault took place on Old Town Street, outside Drake's Circus shopping centre, at around 4.25am.
A man, aged in his 20s, was involved in an argument with a group of men before being punched and hit in the face.
