PLYMOUTH'S new alcohol retailer is stocking more than 1,200 wines at its new Derriford store. UK-wide wine retailer Majestic opened its first store in Plymouth last week, and is offering daily wine tasting.
The company, which has more than 200 outlets around the country, launched its 4,400sq ft shop on the ground floor of The Range's head office building in Derriford, after striking a deal to sublet a section of underutilised space within the block.
The specialist wine retailer is close to the new £19m Bravo Way retail centre, already home to Aldi and Oggy Oggy, which opened its seventh Plymouth pasty shop on November 11, and which will soon be home to Pets Corner, Costa Coffee and PureGym, and with M&S Food opening today.
