ASPIRING candidates are eagerly awaiting the TDP-led NDA government's decision on the position of Chairman for the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA), a role considered second in importance only to the TTD Trust Board Chairman. With every round of appointments emphasizing district representation, there is growing anticipation as numerous hopefuls compete for this coveted post.
The delay in the government's announcement has intensified the suspense among aspirants. "The longer the wait, the greater the tension among candidates," said a party insider. TDP supporters believe the position should be filled by someone capable of addressing the alleged irregularities under the previous YSRCP administration.
