NIA conducts raids in 17 places across 4 states in Muzaffarpur arms haul case

IN a multi-state operation, the National Investigation Agency on Wednesday conducted raids at 17 locations, in connection with the recovery of AK-47 assault rifles and ammunition in Bihar's Muzaffarpur in May.

"Searches were conducted at the premises of 15 accused and suspects at 17 locations in the states of Bihar (12 locations), Nagaland (3), Haryana (1) and Jammu and Kashmir (1). The 11 suspects whose premises were searched were linked with those previously arrested, and the four accused against whom a chargesheet has already been filed," said an NIA official.
