A criminal case was registered against Telugu movie star Allu Arjun, his security team, Sandhya Theatre and its management, by the Hyderabad Police on Thursday, after a 35-year-old woman was killed in a stampede outside the theatre at RTC X roads, Chikkadpally, during the premiere of Allu Arjun-starrer 'Pushpa-2: The Rule' the previous night.
The case, filed on the complaint of the deceased woman's husband, was registered under Sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118(1) r/w 3(5)(voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) of the BNS.
