THE three-day Special Olympics Bharat-Kerala, a state-level sports meet for specially-abled, concluded in Kozhikode on Sunday. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan highlighted that programmes like the Special Olympics, which have become a means of drawing the attention of the public to the lives of differently-abled people, should be organised in the coming years as well.

He addressed the audience online while inaugurating the closing ceremony of the meet, which commenced on Friday at the Olympian Rahman Stadium in Kozhikode. The event was organised by the Special Olympics Bharat-Kerala and Kozhikode corporation with the support of the Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society.
