ADDRESSING the Congress meet and public in Davanagere, district Congress president MK Tajpeer said that it was the farsightedness of Dr Singh which helped in the real development of the Karnataka. He contributed to the growth of Karnataka in many ways, but what stands out is him saying that 'people see India through the prism of Bengaluru'. The Congress units on Friday paid rich tributes to the former prime minister, widely regarded as the 'architect of India's economic reforms'.
Dr Singh passed away on December 26 at AIIMS New Delhi due to age-related illness.
