LIKE most children, Mohammad Rafeeque of Kakkad, Malappuram, also received coins from his parents and relatives to buy sweets when he was a child. However, instead of spending all of them, Rafeeque used to set aside coins with unique images. This simple habit sparked his lifelong passion for collecting antique and rare items.
Now, at 40, Rafeeque has turned his house into a treasure trove of antiques he has collected over the years. He has elegantly showcased these items in dedicated portions of the dining halls and rooms in his home.
