Modi tears into 'mafia-slave' JMM govt in J'khand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday accused the JMM-led Jharkhand government of becoming a mafia slave, saying it was busy in ‘bandarbaant’ (greed/sharing allocated funds) of their cuts in the government contracts, while people are forced to migrate as businesses were closing down in the state.

Elections for the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly are due in two phases on November 13 and 20. Addressing two election rallies in Garhwa and Chaibasa, PM Modi took a swipe at Congress-JMM-RJD coalition government, accusing it of rampant corruption, nepotism, and unfulfilled promises.
