"The practice of teaching, that's the expertise of DepEd, but when it comes to content or what needs to be taught to students (concerning sex education), the DOH is very ready to help," DOH Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo told a radio interview.
He mentioned that he had reviewed the current curriculum and found it to be too technical as it includes scientific and medical terminologies that may be difficult for students to understand.
"That is DOH's turf... We are ready to help in updating modules and content," said Domingo.
