ENGLAND can still win the T20 World Cup - but one of the top four big-hitters must come out "hard and firing" against the United States.
That is according to former England assistant coach Paul Farbrace, who remains hopeful Jos Buttler and his men can retain their crown.
But they need a hero to ride forward with the bat in Barbados today and lead the side to a resounding victory.
England have been left needing to do a quick and clinical job in their final Super Eights pool game to keep alive their hopes of making the semifinals.
They will then drive back to the hotel to cheer on South Africa against the West Indies, who moved above them with an impressive and destructive defeat of USA.
England's chances of retaining their title have been left dangling on a thread by their close seven-run loss to South Africa. They cannot afford any more slip-ups when they face the States.
