JOFRA ARCHER shrugged off a nightmare start to his big return to the international stage, and helped drive England to a timely World Cup confidence-booster.
And captain Jos Buttler showered praise on the fast bowler for his doublewicket comeback which cued a 23-run win over Pakistan in the second T20.
Buttler top-scored with 84 in England's 183-7 before they dismissed Pakistan for 160. But all eyes - English ones anyway - were on Archer, 29, on his first game following a 14-month injury absence.
When he was smashed for 15 runs in his first over there were fears it could hit his confidence and he was swiftly removed from the front line by Buttler.
Archer, however, was much more like his old self when he returned for his second stint. And was mobbed by his team-mates after having Azam Khan caught by Moeen Ali.
