LIFE AS A WORKING MOM

This can be overwhelming at times. Through the years of leading the life of a working mother, have tried to make my life simpler, it was not easy, but would say it was worth learning my lessons and altering my lifestyle which made everything a tad bit easier.

Here is how you can also make your life easier and happier. Not denying the fact that it is exhausting, it can be difficult and it can literally put you to your wit’s end, but hey, we are all in this together!

Routine is a saviour: We all as working mothers know what we have signed up for multi-tasking, demanding work-schedules, travel, targets, progress with kids, self-growth, etc.. etc.. and the list goes on. We need the system to work in sync to enable everything to work and progress well in harmony. It does not necessarily have to be chaotic all the time. Make it flow. Routine is a powerful tool. A well-planned routine can help you accomplish a lot more effortlessly. Without a routine, you will not be able to make much progress because everything will remain half-baked, in bits and pieces, leaving you more worried and concerned because you end up feeling you are not accomplishing much. For you to ensure that things are working as you want them to, put a structure in place, even if you achieve 70% of it, you are doing a pretty good job. Delegate, you do not need to be doing everything or taking every decision there is. Take up one thing at a time. Ensure you are making progress at work too, but remember you do not need to do everything in a day. Nutrition and sleep cannot be compromised, vet in these in your routine too to ensure your body is getting what it needs. Stick to a bedtime routine so you and your family know it's time to unwind and rest.
