Mention the words ‘Italian thoroughbred’ and most people think of Colnago or Pinarello. But compared to Daccordi, those are Gianni-come-latelies. Ernesto Colnago was five years old when Daccordi opened its doors in Tuscany in 1937. However, Giuseppe Daccordi built frames for other brands and it wasn’t until his son Luigi joined the business that Daccordi launched under its own name.
