Jonas Vingegaard continued his charge towards the Tour de France last week, taking a comfortable victory at TirrenoAdriatico, his second title from as many races this season. The Dane, a two-time Tour winner, described his success in Italy as “one of the biggest victories” of his career. It followed on from a commanding performance at O Gran Camiño in Spain last month, where he won three of the four stages and the general classification.
