I’VE been reviewing horses-to-follow books since Mark Howard was in short trousers but I’ve never come across one quite like 50 Eyecatchers by Andy Gibson.
Howard’s excellent One Jump Ahead and our own Paul Ferguson’s guides do a fantastic job but they are largely looking for reasons why you would back a horse.
That’s where Gibson’s book is different. Yes, there are lots of nice prospects detailed in its pages but he has several Eyecatchers in there because you should avoid backing them.
